Metro Reconstruction Services is a general contractor on the Front Range and in the mountain communities. Stucco and EIFS, windows, siding, roofing, decks, masonry, remodels and full reconstruction, treated as one building envelope instead of a list of trades.
Metro Reconstruction Services, Inc. has been family owned for over four generations, working out of Boulder for more than forty years. We build new, and we spend a lot of our time removing and replacing systems somebody else installed poorly.
Stucco that was never flashed. Windows set without a nailing flange. Gutters and step flashing that let water into a wall for a decade. Colorado sun, hail, wind and freeze and thaw find every one of those shortcuts. We open the assembly, correct what is behind it, and rebuild it so the fix holds.
We have never had a lien on any property we have worked on. Our credit rating is in the mid 800s, which lets us be bonded and help finance larger projects.

We come out, look at the actual assembly, and tell you what is really happening, even if the answer is that you do not need us yet.
We work with architects, structural, geotechnical, civil and energy engineers, and coordinate permitting with state, city and county agencies.

Research after major western wildfires has shown that many homes ignite from wind driven embers rather than direct flame contact. Vegetation management matters, but the exterior of the building is what actually catches.
We replace the vulnerable parts of the envelope with more fire resistant assemblies: siding, decks, soffit and fascia, windows and doors, roofing, gutters and ember resistant construction details.
